    Forceware 81.95 out

I'm interested to see the improvement in the dual core CPUs. What would be the best way to test that? The CPU benchmark in 3DMark?

Just looked at the XFX 512meg 7800GTX Retail box.....

I tell you right now, if I can get a fair price for my 2 GTXs (either as a pair or each seperately), I'm going to sell them and buy one of these (that's going on the assumtion that the512MB versions price will be more like $600-$650). How much do you guys think I could get for month old BFG...

Best overall 939 nForce4 based SLI mobo?

The only thing that makes me hesitant about the DFI boards is all this talk that they are for 'advanced' users and that it's such a big deal to set it up. As for the A8N32, I do like the board a lot. It's just, I want to finally be able to use my new rig and if they keep pushing the release...

Best overall 939 nForce4 based SLI mobo?

Pretty much the title. Right now I've got the Asus A8N Premium, but after hearing about the voltage problems with X2 chips (which I have) I'm thinking about going for a different board. So I'm wondering what everyone thinks the best overall board in this category is as far as overall...

    6800 + Call of Duty 2 = No good!

Yeah, I should think it's definitely your RAM. I had 2GB installed and it played without any hiccups. Unfortunately one of the DIMMS was bad, so until the RMA coems back, I'm on 512MB PC2700. Tried playing COD2 and BF2 again and the performance difference was huge. This is with an X2 4400+ and 2...

    Nvidia 7800 512mb to cost $650!!

Nah, the 7800GTXs have always been in the $500 range. Maybe $550 if you went for one of the 'extreme' versions. EDIT: Was it really $599? I have $500 stuck in my head for some reason.

Title: *Official* - AsusTek A8N32-SLI Deluxe thread

How were you guys able to order one? It only shows the auto-notify when I look at it on Newegg's page. Was it 'in stock' earlier? I wonder why Newegg has an ETA of 11/7 when most other sites have an ETA of 11/11 or later, if they even give one.

    More BSODs

Can't say for sure it's the same problem yet, but it looks like quite a number of people on ASUS' forums are having similar/the same problems with the A8N-SLI Premium & X2 CPU combo. Not sure why either. I guess it doesn't help my situation that my RAM isn't on the approved list for that...

    More BSODs

Just ran the Western Digital diagnostic 3 times and all 3 times it came up with zero errors. So unless there's a problem with all these diagnostic programs, the RAM and Hard Drives must be fine. Is there any other programs people recommend for finding conflicting hardware and the like?

    More BSODs

Hey, back again with more problems. For those that didn't see my earlier thread, I've been having problems with games mostly on my new PC. SPECS: AMD 4400+ X2 Dual Core A8N-SLI Premium (BIOS Ver. 1008) BFG 7800GTX (2 in SLI) 2x1GB OCZ Platinum DDR400 PC3200 RAM Western Digital...

    New X2/SLI Rig Constantly Restarting

Problem solved. Thanks to all for the help. It was worth all the work in the end though

The newest. 81.85 or something like that.

    New X2/SLI Rig Constantly Restarting

Well, it's doing it again, this time with just one 7800GTX in. Constantly restarting. I did a restart after Windows installed some new updates and when it came back up, there was box saying Windows just recovered from a serious problem or something like that and when I told it to send a report...

    New X2/SLI Rig Constantly Restarting

Thanks Genx. I'll give that a try. Looks like an RMA is in order if it fails.

    New X2/SLI Rig Constantly Restarting

Using stock cooling for now. Temps showed about 27*C idle. I took out the extra 7800GTX and it seems to be doing fine right now. I'd say It's been going 10-15 minutes. Considering that I'm using less than half of the PSU connections and that the PSU is rated for SLI (including 2 PCIe...
