Can anyone recommend a wiki similar to Twiki that is wysiwyg - i.e. that has a rich text editor similar to a work processor including tables, underlining etc. but also with the collaborative properties of a Wiki.
TIA
That's a good idea, thanks!
How do I resize the C partition on the first drive - can DiscWizard do that?
I also wanted the second drive to be bootable so if the first drive fails (it's five years old) I don't have any down time. DiscWizard said it copied the Master Boot Record to the new...
Hi
I have about 10 partitions on an 80GB hard drive with Windows XP. Due to the fact that C drive is almost full I have installed a 160 GB Seagate drive and used DiscWizard to copy the partitions on the first drive to the new drive. That all completed ok. I then assigned in the BIOS that...
No, the class object is absolutely NOT temporary. Heap objects are never temporary. Your code won't result in corruption but it stands a good chance of leaking memory.
Anyone know any good free wiki host and or good forum host -
preferably (but not essentially) one without ads.
Preferably a host that backs up the database and allows it to be
downloaded and allows restriction on write access to the wiki.
Wikipedia lists these...
Running win xp pro, trying to run windows update, express, gives me an error - 8024402f - can't display web page. I don't see a solution on MS website. Anybody heard of this error or suggest what I could do. Thanks.
Hi
Using WinXP pro with all updates.
I'm using ntbackup to try and back up C drive to an external hard drive. For some reason, of the 314 objects in windows\system32\drivers, only about 50 are being included in the backup. I have volume shadow copy enabled. Any idea what could cause...
Well I tried it. Puppy Linux said it completed setting up the USB drive ok but it won't boot. My BIOS tells me that USB boot is enabled - I don't know if it actually works though. The Puppy linux installer had some more options to do with the master boot record but now Puppy Linux doesn't...
I would like to create a bootable USB flash drive for booting puppy
Linux. Currently I boot from CDROM. Puppy Linux includes the
ability to create a bootable USB flash drive. I have a Kingston 1GB
"migo" flash drive - it includes some software that provdes easy
synchronisation of files...
So do these layer 7 switches have thousands of physical connections to all the servers or just one very fast ethernet connection?
I'm guessing that when I submit a search request to google, all the routers between me and google are using hardware (ASIC) to route the message, which helps me...
How do these thousands of computers communicate? Presumably they each store a small percentage of the total web pages so how do the results of a search get pooled and how does the search request get sent to them?
With one billion searches per day that is approx 11,500 searches per second...
Does anyone know how google implements its search - (the web search, not the desktop search). I've heard they use tens of thousands of computers but how do they search so many web pages so quickly? Anyone know any details?
Thanks.
Thanks. I feel a lot happier about it now.
Any idea if the cloned drive will replicate the boot information i.e. when I set the new drive as the one to boot from will I get the Mandrake boot screen that I get with my existing drive and will it use the Mandrake OS on the cloned drive rather...
