prommy? huh... i'm not completely in the know of these OC'ing terms... would you say it is viable to OC a 3000+ to 2.3-2.4 with stock retail fan and a decently cooled case (few fans inside) or is that suicide?

A64-3000+ Newcastle CG @ 2.75 wowowow. i'm getting the exact same CPU in a few days, i'd love some insight as to how you OC'd that baby up that high. :) any info would be great

thanks! you are my savior haha. so it's better off if i just stick with a 3000+ desktop, i'll prolly end up with way less headaches. i mean an extra 5% performance in Tribes: Vengence (which is the only reason i buying this thing) is not worth a weeks worth of pulling hair.
