Various hardware problems have occured to me, but if it were a bad RAM module, it would be giving me other problems as well. My thought is that there might be a BIOS setting or driver setting that I am missing. After the first hard reset, the system runs like a champ.

I would agree that buying it from the Skytel site would include the service, but their prices are way more than Timex's and I see no reference on the Timex site to free service.
