    Personal webpage hosting

The only way you could hide your address is if another machine acted as a front-end proxy to your website. The proxy would retrieve the content from your web server, and send it to the client. The client would only see the IP of the proxy.

    Online network cabling supply retailer?

I'm going to be rewiring a house that I'm moving to this weekend, and I was wondering if any of you had any suggestions as to where to go to get Cat5e/F-Connector keystone jacks, wall plates, a patch panel, etc.? I've done some Googling for Cat5e supplies, and turned up some good sounding...

Great deal on Onkyo TX-SR600 surround receiver and SHS-HT500 surround speakers ($311.75 and $164 respectively)

I decided to take advantage of this deal, but after purchasing the receiver, I have 0 Onkyo points in my account. I didn't see any speical instructions other than just purchasing the receiver to attain the extra 16 points (Unless I was supposed to hold on to the 10 from signing up to gain an...

Samsung SyncMaster 950p or Sony G420S?

I'm in the market for a new 19" monitor, and I've narrowed the choices down to the two monitors in the subject through reviews I've been crawling through on 19" monitors. (If you have a better suggestion, feel free to mention it) What I'm really wondering is if the premium I'd end up paying for...

    Jensen mp3510 - Any good?

Anybody have any experience with the Jensen MP3510 CD/MP3 reciever? (link to product info) I'm not a big audiophile so extreme power and features aren't really what I'm after. Just want a decent CD player that can also play MP3's.

    Looking for TV suggestions..

As the subject implies, I'm interested in getting a new TV. I'll probably be looking for 32" models, with a reasonable budget. (None of those perfectly flat and expensive ones, unfortunately.) So if you were going to buy a 32" TV right now with a reasonable budget, what would you buy...

    Win2k Banshee woes

I'm attempting to get my Banshee to work on a new Win2k machine I just put together, and I seem to be having troubles getting it to work in Quake III. The window will load up, and it will just sit there at a blank white screen. I installed the 3dfx GL libraries (dll's) and attempted to install...

    KT7-RAID + 45GB 75GXP = Only 8GB?

It would detect at 45GB. It took a while to figre out.. And I still don't quite understand why this worked. But there's different jumper sections for different types of drives. I just tried them all. Apparently it liked it being a 15 head drive instead of 16.

    KT7-RAID + 45GB 75GXP = Only 8GB?

Nope.. Just one drive. Here's the configuration: IDE-0 (Pri. Master): IBM 75GXP 45GB IDE-2 (Sec. Master): Pioneer 10X DVD IDE-3 (Sec. Slave): Sony CD-RW These are all on the 'regular' IDE channels. Not the RAID ones. Just mentioned that it was a KT7-RAID in case it had some sort of relavence.

    KT7-RAID + 45GB 75GXP = Only 8GB?

I'm attempting to fdisk a 45GB IBM 75GXP using the fdisk that comes with Win98SE, but it doesn't seem to be seeing anything above 8GB. I know this used to be a problem with old BIOSes, but I'm sure you all know that this is new. Any idea what might be causing it to be stuck at the 8GB limit? I...
