    Mel Gibson Busted for DUI

I make no claim that I am right, but I think there is certainly a credible explanation countering your argument. Mel Gibson's father, as we know, was very anti-semitic, and it is very likely that he taught Mel a few things when he was young that were wrong. And Mel probably believed it then...

    X1900GT vs. 7900GT

QFT ...at least I hope so... I just ordered that card a few hours ago myself :-P but at only a slightly higher price point than the 7600gt I was going to get otherwise, it seems like a steal to me...

AM2 Build Advice... especially RAM advice

Thanks guys for the replies... sorry I didn't respond so promptly (not without reason, I promise)... About the case and psu... I'm going to take a serious look at both again, considering how you all feel about them. As acclaimed and well-liked Lian Li cases are, I've never seemed to be very...

    RAID-1 mirror of a RAID-0 array?

I would not bet much on an integrated controller allowing different drives, but it certainly is possible. For example, see this webpage on RAID 1 : http://www.pcguide.com/ref/hdd/perf/raid/levels/single_Level1.htm "Hard Disk Requirements: Exactly two hard disks. Any type may be used but they...

AM2 Build Advice... especially RAM advice

I actually really can't. A few more weeks and I'm headed for college for my first year. I have no other computer that I could take with me, and there is no way I am going to start college without a computer (in addition, it would make it impossible to transfer all my data from my current...

    RAID-1 mirror of a RAID-0 array?

Sorry... read the edit on my last post. That having been said, the drives in a RAID 1 do not have to be the same, so it sounds like it might be possible. However, I say again, it sounds iffy at best to me.

    RAID-1 mirror of a RAID-0 array?

Yes... this is possible.... it is called RAID 10, or RAID 0+1 or something.... i forget exactly.... For more info: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Redundant_array_of_independent_disks EDIT: nvm... saw that the second is a single 74gb.... it sounds iffy at best.... sry for my...

AM2 Build Advice... especially RAM advice

I was excited when I heard that it was coming out, but I was disappointed by how the case looked in black. Personal preference, but I will be looking at this think for the next few years, so I want to get something I like. If truly need be, I will replace the power supply in the P150 with...

AM2 Build Advice... especially RAM advice

Thanks a lot for the advice :) Heh... good point about AM2, although I sort of see it as only an evolutionary increase from 939, whereas Core 2 is much more unlike anything before it... I'm not going to be using SLI (there just wasn't a non-SLI motherboard with the features I want), so...

AM2 Build Advice... especially RAM advice

First off, hello Anandtech forums! New guy here, but I browsed around a bit, and I was hoping that some of you computer veterans could help me out a bit on my college build. Second off, I'm not going with Core 2, so please don't go there. I know how good it is and all, but I'm not getting...
