i recently purchased an nvidia geforce 7600 gs agp 512mb brand new from ebay (joy). while it works great in this older machine, i would like to push it a bit more. upon reading a bit on the net, i have seen reference to a couple of different programs to OC it. one was just a reg entry, coolbits...

well unfortunately, my cpu is not compatible with coretemp. perhaps it's best if i just save up and get a decent rig instead of trying to squeeze so much blood from this one :P

i am not OCing my cpu, but i was trying to work out why i was getting the random restarting. since that post i reckon i have worked it out. when i ran memtest on each stick individually for about 200 passes, there were no errors. but when put in my pc together, i had problems. after reading up...

i don't mean to be a bother, but i have recently stumbled upon SP2004 as i was hoping to find out if either my 2 new 1gb ram sticks are bad, or if it's my cpu since i have been getting random restarts.... i just don't understand the results. perhaps someone could point me in the right direction...
