This week I was at a computer show and noted that the ASUS NB coolers looked that would fit (clip right on) on the Abit Board IC7. The ASUS NB coolers are larger that ABIT's and do not use a fan. Just wondering if anyone has tried it and if it would fit with a Z-7000 CPU cooler on a ABIT IC7-G...

Ramses: Any chance that the NB fan would not be needed with the new heatsink if you are using a Zalman CPU cooler? The Zalman seems to put a fair brease around the NB anyway. I only do minor overclocking, I suppect for large overclockers it would be an issue. By the by does the new setup...

Just Got my IC7-G from NewEgg last night. It had rubber bands around the ram clips and all seemed well. I did note 2 things that made me a little curious. The Box was not sealed in plastic and the plastic around the Board was not sealed. I also noted the wire leads for the chip set cooler...

I had a 2.26 P4 that never worked. After looking at it I found one of the pins was shouter that the other pins, which I suppect was not long enough to make contact. I was able to RMA it directly back to Intel, no problem. Gary

Let us know how the Swiftech works out. Also from other posts, why 4 ram sticks the same ram for dual mode. Why not 2 pairs the same? I understand this board also supports reg. ram which I am thinking of goint to on this box. Gary

I am looking at getting one of the Motherboards with a promise ATA 133 raid chips on board. I thought that all I needed to do was hook up a hard drive, over 133 Meg, in my case 200Meg. But this reference (see below) on the Microsoft page about XP seems to say different. Has anybody done this...
