I think requiring activation is criminal... It's hardware, some people just want to play with it. But yea, it is very limited. Buy hey, for $100 at least it's a hard drive and board :)

All these things are are lenses that refocus light from your TV. The picture quality degrades fairly quickly with magnification, but if you're obsessed with a big screen, willing to work hard for a crappy picture, go for it ;)

I got in on this, it looks fairly legit. My order is in production. My only question is, how long will they take to ship? If they get 10,000 orders, it might be months... The 1901 will do well to replace my aging 19" CRT!
