    Amplifier and voltage spikes

Having my vacuum cleaner turned on doesn't cause any problems, no audio drop outs or lights dimming. The motor however is affected when I turn the fluorescent lights on or off (motor go down in speed). I also tried to spam the switch on my compact fluorescent lamp and turning on and off my...

    Amplifier and voltage spikes

I can't find another electrician since I'm only allowed to use those associated to the housing association. Sadly I don't think they will listen, because they already condemned my PC to be the cause. But how does it explain, that the problem has worsen. A year ago my music might had dropped out...

    Amplifier and voltage spikes

For me it's just the other way around. My sub are causing my other equipment (Pc, vacuum cleaner) to malfunction. If I cannot find any solution I will have to move to another apartment which I hate, but I will do anything for my new PC. If a surge protector can fix it, it would be perfect.

    Amplifier and voltage spikes

Unfortunately I don't have a multimeter. Will it be able to to measure spikes too? I see if can borrow one somewhere. I just found out that It may not be my amplifier but my SPDIF-out on my motherboard. I checked jack->AUX and there's no problem. That was what I feared. While it can still be the...

Sound will stop for ½-1 second and then continue. the amplifier is connected to my PC SPDIF. I've had an electrician to check my installation and he told me...

Hello, HWMonitor and HMonitor displays my DRAM to be running at 1.7V. It's set to 1.6V in the bios but it still says 1.7V. CPU-Z displays 1.5V. I'm extremely worried because, i don't want to damage my system. Please help, if you know something.. My system is a i7 920 on a Asus P6T. Ram is...

    Toughpower + GTX260

It's a GTX260. It requires 2x6 pin. I'm just a bit confused because TT recommends 1 6 pin and 1 8 pin with 8 to 6 pin connector (for cards with 2x6pin) :/ I guess it's because they are on different 12V rails, and the 2 6 pin is on the same 12V rail.

    Toughpower + GTX260

Hello, my Toughpower 850W got 2x 8 pin pci-e non-modular, and 2x 6 pins modular. NVIDIA recommends power connectors that are native to the power supply. I'm not sure what this means, but ThermalTake recommends using 1x modular 6 pin and 1x 8 pin with a 8 to 6 pins adaptor. So, which one...

To wait or not to wait

I don't see a big difference in games, except for the SLI reviews, and i'm a 1-GPU-person... AFAIK (from the reviews) the i7 is as fast as a dual/quad in games pr. mhz. but i see it owns in alot other stuff, and might be more futureproof. The price for a 940 in denmark converted to USD is...
