As far as I can tell the difference between the P6N SLI FI and the P6NSLI PLATINUM is that the platinum has solid capicitors and a better passive heatsink, everything else appears to be the same.

I've had a P6N SLI for just over a week now. I bought the "non" overclocking one as it was already available. Currently have an E6600 running stable at 3.00Ghz. It will go further but I get into problems with the north bridge overheating - have ordered an active cooler to solve this though ;)...
