    RAM + Memtest question

Okay I left Memtest 86+ run for 11 hours straight and came up with 0 errors. This was 20 passes. So I assume I can be fairly confident that I have gotten good RAM?

    RAM + Memtest question

Okay thanks. Do you think it is possible for a game to corrupt RAM? Or for a bad Mobo slot to corrupt it? In other words it works but then it ends up dying soon after.

    RAM + Memtest question

    1. http://www.memtest86.com/ 2. http://www.memtest.org/ I didn't know if there was a difference. Also how many passes does it need to be accurate. I scanned my first time and got 0 errors after the first pass. Does that mean my RAM and RAM slots are fine :)

    RAM + Memtest question

I'm about to head off to bed and would like to know if Memtest 86+ is as good as the normal memtest, because if so I'm going to run it while I sleep. Also the RAM issue.

    RAM + Memtest question

The only reason I bring this up is with my last stick it worked fine then kept making BF2 crash and restart the PC. Do you think Battlefield 2 caused this or anything :S

Yo, Is the Memtest 68+ as good as the regular Memtest? And also is it possible for a game to corrupt RAM?

    RAM Issues

Help please :( I just need to know if it is possible that the stick died even after only 2-3 days of use.

    RAM Issues

Or would the stick have been dead from the start.

    RAM Issues

Yeah but it's the fact that one of the sticks worked for like 3 days and then died. Is that normal?

    RAM Issues

Any more opinions on this issue?

    RAM Issues

Is it possible it could have been unstable, hence the restarting, and then after enough instability it simply fried out and stopped working?
