    go with the p3, I have a 600e stable at 1002 mhz. Faster than an equivalent amd for games, and no major problems so far.

    Surely there has to be some speedup potential. I find it ridiculous that there is nothing to make use of the p3. Even a 10% boost would be something, but I think the potential exists for more.

    Post your best overclock

    Running a p3 slot1 600e cb0 @ 1002 (167 fsb) @ 1.75 volts on a be6-2, with an alpha p3125. Using sh bios. Machine on continous for a week, cracking rc5, surfing, playing quake3, 3dmark. No crashes. Don't think I'll be upgrading for a long, long time
