Thanks for the suggestion, but didn't work. I looked around a bit in the device manager while there anyway, looking at each of the USB ports listed. One of them had my mouse (MX510) which apparently requires 98 mA. Another one listed CanoScan LiDE 90 as requiring 500 mA. Everything is reported...
