Thanks for the reply! I used the thermal material that came with the heatsink, and had to reposition it once or twice, so it probably reduced the amount that's actually there. I'll try the thermal grease you suggest, and maybe a second fan.

Just put together this new computer, no overclocking, cpu die is at about 51c at idle, gets up near 60 under heavier loads (RT 1 at 35-39). I've got the Codegen 6209 case (air duct for the cpu doesn't match up with where the heatsink & fan are, so I took the duct off), and ever since I finished...
