Final report! I went to Radio Shack and changed out fuses. Unfortunately that didn't solve the problem. I decided to give up on the charger I bought for the 3225 and see if they had a replacement. They had one with several different connections so I tried the tip that looked right. The same...

I pulled out the fuse in the charger and it says F1.5AL250V. All I see at Radio Shack is 1.5A 250V. I will check with them tomorrow. Thanks! I will let you know if it works.
