As I was surfing around the many pc shopper websites, on the net, I am across what I think is a steall right now, for the GTX280. On brand, the XFX GTX280 is being sold for $450 at this website: XFX GTX280 @ mwave.com
Is it primetime to get it now? or should I wait till after the release of...
I have been looking online for the best overall micro ATX motherboard that could handle one of the high-end videocards that are out, like the 9800GX2,GTX260, or HD4870?
Would this handle one of those cards pretty well? ----> GIGABYTE GA-G31M-S2L
Or is their a better one out their that I...
hmmm I dont see a need to be going into CF with 2 cards, just need one, so that I could focus my budget for a nice set of speakers and monitor $400+ could go a long way with other parts *since this system is not mainly aimed for gaming* Thanks for the tip though!:)
So your saying I should use...
As for being what it will be, it will in a work room, since more than one person will be using it. a)One of my brothers will be mixing/creating music as this computer will also be for a studio type of use b)I will somewhat do the same thing but mostly do video editing (love videotaping...
I have decided to leave my pure gaming experience to consoles and have found what I really want from my new computer that I am building.
I hope to do the following things and hope that anyone could lend a tip or two:thumbsup:
Burn dvd and Blu-ray movies (home made of course ex: family...
well actually I have played most of the popular games for PC and PS3 but not all since some popular out there don't really interest me, one reason for looking into a 360. and I guess I just like the fact that I have another console to add to my collection yet if their aren't enough games to...
Having been reading that ATI's 4xxxs CF configurations out perform a single GTX280, is their even a sure enough SLI setup that beats a single GTX280 too?
if someone knows of a thread in AT or know a link to a site showing a chart where SLI setups beat out a single GTX280, please lend a hand...
Hello everyone.
I have been with Sony ever since PS1, i kinda skipped PS2 since I started getting into the pc gaming genre and just last year my girlfriend got me a PS3 for xmas and a PSP for my birthday.
I have been always curious about the Xbox 360 and I am interested in some of their...
Lets say i get myself 2 6pin-pin adaptors to run 2 GTX280s with a Thermaltake Toughpower 850W, *just found out that the model I got had no 8pin adapters* would it be still possible to run the 2 cards? For SLI purposes.
Just dont want to shell out $250-$300 for a new PSU, if my 850 could do...
ASUS P5N72-T
Would this board be the real deal for getting a dependable 7xx board?? I know it has few reviews but the fact that it didnt show up as a bad board, would this be a 7xx board to get?
probably Dual GTX9800+s then I would think? Anyone have an idea about when the GTX260 is coming out? maybe Dual GTX260s would do the job. please bear in mind everyone I am in the position now to spend my $700 budget, so all this feedback I'm getting from all of you is really helping me think...
I think so too, I mean it defeats the SLI purpose if an SLI capable board could also to CF.
Could I have your opinion regarding this thread MarcVenics? What would be an ideal NVIDIA configuration, around $700?
wow 2 GTX280s... I wish I had the cash for 2 but sadly my budget is $700.. yet i would not think my board though an SLI, would handle 2 GTX280s, but i would agree with you though right now the GTX is still overpriced and plus its not showing much promise as of current drivers and what the...
so you saying the X4870 x2 will run better than the GTX280? Since x2 is ATI's way of Nvidia's GX2 where 2 gpus are slapped into one card, if ATI's card is successful, could I still run the X4870 x 2 in my 680i board?
Thanks for the info!
