You need to let us know what source you would be getting your TV from. Is it analog? QAM? Cable box? If it's a cable box what are your output options.
Or you can just but the best thing out there.

Wow, Thank you so much. I shocked it actually work. I'm even more shocked it that I had to do that after applying every god damn proper setting. When checking the sharing properties on the folders and drives "Everyone" was listed. It's incredibly stupid I had to go in there and do that. I find...
I for whatever reason cannot get my home network computers to share folders. I have looked at every setting I can and I get a access denied type message from both computers. I could really use some help here. Below are some more details.
Router setup shouldn't be a problem. I had both...
I hate to break it to you but you can pretty much forget about the Black Magic cards. Like others have said it doesn't support HDCP so it won't work with your cable box. On top of that even if you did get it to work you would still have tons of problems getting it to do what you actually expect...
There are several. I personally love the Fusion. Also if your going to get the Fusion get the V3. It has an internal IR receiver built in, that way you won't have to have the IR dongle sitting out somewhere.
Fusion V3 430 Black
Fusion Max - 4 with internal drive bays

That's pretty much your only problem. Your card doesn't work with Vista 64. The best solution is to return the card and buy a different one.
I will never watch TV at my house without an HTPC again. It is just too awesome.
I see 33 different cards myself Link. Not too bad but not to...
 I didn't know what a rampage formula was so I goggled "q6600 rampage formula." The top results was your post asking for help at like 4 different forums.
I can only assume your new to overclocking as it appears you bought a very expensive board but are forum shopping for settings. I...
I just finshed my 2nd htpc build and will be working on my 3rd soon. I started about the same way you did. I didn't really care about the case or front end. After I started using the HTPC full time I started adding more and more and finally have a really polished system that I can't live...
There are a few ways to do it, but you didn't give enough info.
Does his video card have tv out (s-video or rca)?
Is this going to be the computers only job?
How far away is the computer from the TV?
Does he want to use a TV style remote or keyboard mouse?
Most likely he can just...
You can't run hybrid crossfire at all with your current parts. Like mentioned before the 3650 can't be used with a 780g at all. The parts are too far off. The highest card you can use with a 780g is the 3470
See Compatibility chart for the list.
And it's a bust!
Just tried the system on cardboard with an am2+ 4 pin fan, with 2 sets of ram in every possible combo and NOTHING!
Just to recap folks
2 different mother boards
2 different CPUs
2 different sets of Ram both rated at 1.8v
2 different PSUs
On board video + discrete...
I actually already tried new ram. I edited the original post but forgot it out of my last post. I tested with some new cheap DDR 2 667.
I did just get back from Fry's to rule out a fan and noticed something wierd. I saw several fans listing support for AM2 boards and almost all had 3 pin...
I'm not currently using a CPU fan with a 4 pin connection. I'm using an old retail AMD heatsink / fan combo. I noticed the difference when I first got everything but I ruled that out early. From what I understand the 4th pin is for fan speed control and not necessary.
I also intended to run...
Yup, I'm using the monitor to type this.
I tried using just one of the sticks in every slot in every possible combo.
I can only get a beep if there is no ram installed. With no ram installed I get just 1 continuous beep.
I'm pretty much at this point. I didn't think it would be...
