I have built hundreds of diesels.
Warm'em up on the dyno, check for leaks, then full power run for about a half hour.
During the 1/2 hour temps(oil and coolent) come down and power goes up.
Suprised to see that on a Michelin.
It is a separation and a blow-out is probable but it could be run quite awhile w/o real issue. My advice?....replace it ASAP.

Jumper cables could have an open or high resistance internal connection at one of thier lugs or they were not wiggled around enough to make good contact. Meh!

If the "dead" battery was very warm to the touch during the jumping process it prolly has a shorted cell or two. Replace the battery.
Cables have been known to develope high resistance connections internally, like between the cable wire and the lug. Replace cables if there is any doubt about...
