Well, it has "Target Display Mode", basically, i hit Command + F2 on the mac keyboard and I can switch the 'Source' of the monitor between the iMac and my PC. If I can't get into actual OSX i don't know if it'll work.

I can't suggest the Apple Airport Extreme enough. Probably the best rated router on Anandtech and worth every penny (i know, strange considering it's apple).
