Intel Clover Trail CPU/GPU and light gaming

Works great at playing movies, have tried through 720p no problems, no stuttering or fragmenting at all. As far as light programming, almost certainly ok. Get the samsung Ativ Smart PC (not the pro if you are looking at the TP2). S-Pen + actual laptop-style keyboard dock and the bigger...

This seems good enough for what I'll need the tablet for. I'll have an ipad mini around for other stuff BTW, what do you use for reading .epub files in metro?

This is what it comes down to, for me... Ativ Pros - 11.6" screen, almost the same weight as the surface, atom processor means x86 windows experience, S-Pen, keyboard + tablet only ~ $100 more than surface RT, double the memory of the surface RT, full office support, bigger app store that...

Honestly, I'm too much of an early adopter to wait, and I need a laptop-style device now anyways, so its the best time to get one. I've sort of changed what my expectations for use on the device will be, so I'm not sure i need the A-Game, and if its so much better, I'll just sell this tablet on...

OK, so MS released pricing for the Surface today...and I've narrowed myself down to the Ativ Smart PC (Series 5 slate) from samsung and the Surface RT 32gb (I have another 32gb micro-SD card). Now...I'm probably going to limit myself to win store apps. Frankly, if there is a galaxy on fire...

Intel Clover Trail CPU/GPU and light gaming

Interesting... So I've been doing more reading online...I think I'm going to just buy a series 5 slate and an i3-based acer w700 since it has the same graphics as an i5 and processor, besides no turboboost, is sufficient (unless the surface pro wows with its price), and test them. Microsoft...

Damn I didn't even consider this! Any idea if there are any Hondo tablets in the pipeline for win8 launch?

I have an ipad (probably going to switch down to an ipad mini when it comes out, I use it for light mobile gaming and reading and that form factor will serve me better). I need a laptop-style device (hence looking at hybrids) that I can actually get some work done on but takes advantage of...

Hey guys, I'm new to this forum but Anandtech seems to have by far the most knowledgeable people in terms of raw tech info, so I found this would be the best place to ask this question I'm in the market for a hybrid win8 tablet. At the moment, I'm looking very hard between the Surface RT, the...
