    Johnny walker blue label

I had heard about that, and so when I was walking through the Calgary airport last year I walked into a shop and was surprised when I found two bottles left. Bought one of them. I always knew green was different from the others, and I found out the secret just a few months ago. Green is the...

Tell me something, why are semi-automatic weapons "evil"?

Woops - I just realized I mistakenly wrote closed bolt instead of open bolt as being better for mgs.

Being in the red doesn't mean anything until you sell. I wonder how many people giving IHMYJ2004 crap, are actually short the stock?

Tell me something, why are semi-automatic weapons "evil"?

He wasn't asking about closed bolt versus open bolt, and the AR, AK, SKS, XCR, etc., etc., are all closed bolt, anyways. Closed-bolt is better for machine guns, as far as I understand it. Edit: Meant to say open-bolt is better for machine guns.

YAGT: help me pick a .357 Mag

I've got a bone stock 686 Plus with a 6 inch barrel (I'm Canadian - barrel length of 4" or less is a prohibited-class firearm). It is fantastic to shoot and as a bonus you can shoot .38 spl rounds if you're doing target shooting.

    Did I screw the lawnmower?

A typical car battery stores about as much energy as 29ml of gasoline. This would be an exercise in changing batteries :p

    Questions about turbochargers

    1. You reduce frictional losses indirectly because you can generate more torque at lower speeds. (By using a higher gear ratio you can reduce the speed of the engine for a given output at a given speed) 2.Turbocharging has no direct effect on the compression ratio. Whether you select...
