Yeah the 2001fp looks good... I'm trying to extract one from dell out here in the asteroid belt, but they only do discounts once in an aeon.

I'd really like to know this too (although I think it'll be difficult to buy a 12ms one if they have the same product code, up until they are all 12ms). Anyway is 12ms worth the wait? It's going from 62Hz to 83hz, which isn't actually crt like flicker in any case... Still waiting for kris to...

I've been considering the Samsung 172X, it looks like the best 17", but I haven't seen any reviews to confirm this. It's got excellent paper specs (several versions actually), hopefully KristopherKubicki will get one soon and tell us it's all true :)
