Thanks a bunch for this post. I got the Corsair memory (but the CL9 version) and my system POSTS!!!! That single beep was the greatest sound I've heard in a long time.......thank god. Stay away from that Crucial memory like its an IED.

Well folks, I have the same mobo and RAM AND the same problem. I can't offer any help....just letting everyone know that this problem is happening to a lot of people. I haven't seen any forum with an answer yet. The board hasn't been out long enough for someone to have received a RMA back...
