    Issues with bfg 6800gt

My card has run at stock settings since I've installed it. My computer is virtually dust free(due to being in a box for most of the time when not in use due to space restrictions). With 2 120mm fans plus a 92 mm fan and ample space around the card, air flow isn't a problem. I've even opened...

    Issues with bfg 6800gt

My bfg 6800gt seems to be overheating. If I play any game(Call of Duty, Half Life 2...) for any longer than 10-15 minutes, the monitor with just go black and the red led on the card will shut off, but the computer itself is still running. Pressing the reset button gives prompts a "system...

    A8N E Port Locks

Since I'm planning to overclock this board when I buy it, I want to know if the pci express, pci & sata ports are all lockable. Also, does this board have the "250 htt @ 1T" problem the A8n-SLi board has?

Dell 2405fpw and Playable Frame Rates question.

So a single ati x850 can make games like half life 2, far cry, ut2004, and halo playable at its native resolution(1920x1200)!!! I thought only SLI could do it reliably

how big of a boot drive should i get?

Scary, I'm putting the exact same thing in my new PC!! It depends on whats being put on the storage drives, If you know you'll be putting video stuff(TV shows, DVD rips, etc.)which take up lots of space, what you have could work, if not, maybe save money and get something smaller.

    Quietest SLI Power supply

I stand corrected, ignore my last post

    Quietest SLI Power supply

I think the two are mutually exclusive If you want silence, you'll more than likely lose performance If you want performance, your psu will need more(and louder) cooling If you want an SLI system, you have to be prepared to handle a louder system Some good PSU are: PC P&C 510...

    BFG or EVGA 6800gt

Don't pay the extra $20 for the bfg cause it's OC'd, pay it cause of the warranty!

    Koolance PC3-720

Thanks DCrew, I hope my luck is good too! I've heard that the 510 SLI is loud but that doesn't concern me much(i'll just turn up my speakers and I turn off my computer at night so it won't disturb me then) MostlyI'm doing this because I want to take my skills to the next level and for...

    Koolance PC3-720

Mobo: A8N-SLI Premium(if most probs with the deluxe version are fixed)/DFI SLI-DR CPU: 3500+/Fx-55(depends on how much money I'll have available and if I want to spoil myself) PS: PC P&C 510 SLI(seems a prerequisite for the rig i'm building and I won't take any chances) This computer...

Why does SLI need two cards from the same manufacturer?

To minimize problems on the user end, too many variables with video cards from diferent companies(like different core clock speeds)

    Koolance PC3-720

It not that I can't handle it if necessary, its that I want everything inside a case for easier transport(not for LAN parties though)

    BFG or EVGA 6800gt
