Uhh Grooge was telling you to cover the traces with electrical lacker (on the board) to keep them from the air. The board should be fine without but in time the copper will corode and could cause problems in the future.

Hi if you check your manual that came with the board there should be a jumper to reset the Bios. You just move the jumper to the pin that isn't covered then back to original position and reset all your Bios settings. Hope it works out for you.
