    i got my new build today, and the system won't even boot. when i turn it on, every thing started running, but the monitor was pitch black. core 2 duo E6300 OZC 2GB PC2-6400 Gold XTC OCZ 600W gameXtream GeForce 7900 GT old HDD will the HDD be the problem?

    i don't really get the part where u have to OC memory when u OC the processor..some one help me. I have 2 GB OCZ PC2-6400 gold XTC. so if i want to overclock my E6300 to 3 GHz, do i need to overclock the memory too? and how? plz help!

    ok...multiplier really doesn't have much impact. simply because the motherboard will only allow the FSB to go to a certain level, 1 more multiplier can only add a few more MHz. so the e6300 can give you the best value!

    go here looks like u got the basic..this tread will help you, because they used same motherboard as urs..and got it up to 3.6GHz apprently..give it a try an good luck@
