Discussion Intel Meteor, Arrow, Lunar & Panther Lakes Discussion Threads

Arrow Lake: the new generation CPUs have at least 100W lower power consumption while maintaining high frequecnies. The updated process eliminates previous high voltage issues, ensuring stability. Performance details of the new generation are confidential but expected to be impressive. Today...

Bad is, Redwood is worse than Raptor Cove in average :) But Skymont is another level I think.

IPC is around 10-12%, it is not bad. But of course, 14900K has higher clocks. IPC is measured to same frequency, which propably 14900K will have 5% better. From my point of view is multicore performance awesome, due fact, there is no HT and 8P+16E cores (so 24C/24T). Seems, small cores will be...

hello Domdtxdissar :) This guy is on Overclock.net forum and also here with Det0x nick ,-) and he is using watercooling setup. So no LN2 or DICE. This means 5950 MHz is max boost for some of cores. His watercooling for 7950X + another score propably of him...

    Intel Comet Lake Thread

5.3 GHz is only in theory it depends on Intel software (must be installed for it) and it is similar style like Ryzen max boost. Real (practice) boost will be 5.1 GHz for 1-2 cores load.

    Speculation: Ryzen 3000 series

Me too, I think some model will have XFR up to 4.5 GHz (quadcore+sixcore+12C) and some models up to 4.7 GHz (8C/16T)

I promised on your interest downlock of i7-8086K. So, in this case modern 8086K worked on 2.33 GHz and 2.028 GHz cache and RAM a little over 1866 MHz effective :). Of course, hyperthreading was disabled and allowed only 4 cores of 6. It was interesting in most legacy test the results again old...

:D I will try set the RAM to 2133 MHz only with lazzy timings as eg c18 :)
