I have the same setup as previous posters (MIS B450 Carbon AC) and my RealTek Audio sound just randomly completely stopped after the recent Realtek driver updates also. Fix #2 worked for me too. Thanks schampange :) - albeit this is a crude fix as you basically revert to Vanilla driver...
