have done both between posts, can navigate with kb in setup but not windows. Tomorrow is Monday...looks like I get a new keyboard...maybe USB with new software. Thanks for walking me through this.
Any thoughts on the Yamaha RXV-663 vs. Onkyo TX-SR606? Liked the 606 feature & price...
Has anyone tried these?...Klipsch Synergy III series 6 1/2"... sound good in store...also:
Klipsch KSW-10
and lastly what's the deal with the DLP tvs? Saw some great pictures and some great prices...
I guess for right now it's really the built in video upscaling that gives the 863 the edge...that and the HD radio(not big onn paying for radio...TV & internet is bad enough).
I am about 50 miles south of Memphis, TN and I know there are a couple of what we used to call "stereo stores" left...
Not sure what happened earlier...browser locked up & thought last reply didn't post. Looks like I doubled up...OOOPS!
I still think the Yamaha RX-V863 is the way I am going to go because I think it will serve me better now & into the forseeable future.(I don't upgrade very often).

Actually I was just being lazy & letting someone else do all the work. Already have my eye on a 50" Vizio plasma at Sam's Club (complete with employee discount) so I will take the receiver one step further:
Yamaha RX-V863
And I have the perfect placement for this speaker design (for a...

QS8 v2 Surround Speakers
With 30 days to listen to the speakers...

The $3500 Balanced AV System
Looks interesting and is actually affordable...and might last a...

or
Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ50 Digital Camera
Thanks all the same though...never hurts to look because you never know you don't know until you know...
Seems like the more I look, the more I want to spend. I know H/K has had good receivers since way back when...anyone have any thoughts on their package deals???...
Harman Kardon

Any thoughts on the following:
OLYMPUS SP-570 UZ
vs
Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ50 Digital Camera
Panasonic supports higher resolution in video mode, but I'll be on a boat with a bunch of strangers. It's not like I will be taping hours of X-mas morning gift unwrapping.
It's not written in stone that I am limited to one camera...just a personal preference since I am rather scatter-brained & have been told most of my life that I would be missing a couple of critical body parts if they weren't attached...
If there were two (1 still & 1 camcorder) that did...
