I read that quite a few people were getting S-IPS panels in the Dell 2007wfp lately. I am going to through the dice and see if I get the panel. If not, back to the drawing board :)

xtknight: thanks for your reply. Super helpful! Since my monitors are multipurpose, the 971P won't be a good match for me. If I could get an S panel with the 226BW from Samsung, how would that stack up against the L226WT from LG? The one thing I like better in the LG is the matte screen :) Thanks

For a 22", I would recommend a 8800gts.
