Definitely possible... Been overclocking my 4400 (with XP-90c) tonight, got 2.625GHz stable (so far) at 1.4v. Not finished tinkering yet, can probably get it a lil higher :) Edit- Good post in this very forum regarding 4400 OCing results.

I may be totally wrong here, but I don't think a HD is capable of beeping. In the image the speaker on the mobo is visible (right next to the 2 empty, red SATA ports ), safe bet thats what is beeping. Not sure what the beeping means, might be an alarm trying to tell you something is...
