Update, Seagate fixed the drive for free and returned it working with data intact. awesome! sorry for the revive but i think it's important to end the story with the fact that Seagate/Maxtor handled the issue admirably.

i had seen similar things on the subject. looking for feedback from people who corrected the issue or dealt with seagate and got it fixed. i'm shipping my drive tonight or tomorrow morning.

i strongly suggest that...and update your firmware too. backup everything before updating firmware. lots of people have problems updating firmware.

I've never had a problem with all the other games i play. I will give that a shot and see when i get home tonight.

I forwarded one port and it didn't help me. did that truly solve your problem? what port did you forward? did you increase max connections? any other steps?

battlefield 2142

game design, UT3 uses the cpu more than GPU....they wanted to make it easier for people to run it.

i'm thinking about playing cod 4 on a harder setting but normal was hard enough!

i feel your pain. EA's support and follow up to games like Battlefield sucks ass

they need to fix the cod 4 server browser. it pings 15000 servers and give you only a few with reasonable pings and a few more with mega high pings and when you joing those the ping is fine. they need to fix it.

YES, LOT OF PEOPLE STILL PLAY IT AND THERE ARE A TON OF GOOD MODS OUT THERE but i like bf2142 better

THAT'S EXACTLY THE PROBLEM I HAVE WITH IT, WE NEED MORE PEOPLE PLAYING THOUGH.... ALL THE PEOPLE WHO OWN UT3 AND ARE PLAYING THE OLD ONES NEED TO COME UP AND PLAY UT3, THE GAME IS REALLY POLISHED IN THE LATEST PATCH
