after looking at one drive i can say that the most important file to retrive is the outlook PST file. so im looking at the best way to do so. from my quick search online, i need to be looking at what is known as file carving software.
so any recomendation of a good one. something that allows...
@larry there is a backup server but it you cant count on it being used all the time by users which is what happened.
@chusteczka thanks will go over the posted links
@AnonymouseUser the drive that has the deleted files is untouched. in fact, they are disconnected and all PCs are booting...
Hello all
I am trying to recover data from the hard drives of about 15 identically configured PCs that got hit by the same virus. The files were all resident in the D drive( all drives were got their D partions deleted, system C: drive is fine) The important data that needs to be retrieved...
after some research and several emails to some sites the cheapest decent looking NTP- based clock i found was $1100. probably ok for a few wall clocks but not acceptable in the long run since we may need a lot more.
hypothetical question:
is there a way that we can install a radio...
all the "prayer clocks" ive seen dont have GPS and they just calculate the prayer time based on the included quartz clock, date and the city you program it to use. they dont sync themselves with a GPS source or NTP server
i think im stuck with a network enabled NTP-based clock

seems that these radio clocks wont work on my country since we dont have this radio signal.
another solution is needed
thanks i seem to have totally misjudged the whole situation :).
ive never actually seen one of these locally here (Saudi Arabia) and they definitely don't sell them here. questions:
-will this work here if i buy it from the states. the videos...

Does any of you have recommendations or ideas for installing wall clocks that displays exact time. We have several conference rooms in several buildings and I would like to make sure that they all show exact synchronized time in all rooms. I am not sure of the available options but...
come on people 32 is plenty even for win7 with all the applications that i use on regular basis. a friend has been using winXP+office +other apps just fone on his eeepc 700 with only 4GB+8gb SD card for data files. feel free to recommend a good 32gb SSD drive
do most laptops have the...
let me get this right: 64GB is the smallest available size with decent performance ?
if thats the case then my idea isnt very feasible as $160 is too much money to pay on storage for a cheap system
question: will all laptops that have pcie have no problem booting the OS from the...
64 gb is too much need someting cheaper <<$100 with "close" to intels x25 performance
as i said 16 gb (or 32) is more than enough for my needs.
i saw this for PCIe fpm32ghae

but the...
hello all
i think 16 GB is more than enough for the primary drive (OS/apps). data files and applications thats are not used frequently can be installed in a normal 320/500 GB secondary drive. i dont know why so many people are not doing this as it seems cheap enough for <$900 PCs...
