Zaap - you are a genius! Yes... it was the wireless dongle! I removed it, restarted and yes - it shut down with it removed! Did it a few more times - same thing... so THANK YOU! I take it this is just something I will have to live with if I am using this wireless USB dongle? Again, Zaap...

Bios is F8 for sure - there is nothing on the motherboard I could of plugged in wrong that is stopping a full shutdown? Do you have the OpenHaltRestart commandthingy so I can run just that again (using the Install Custom Kexts from HD window) ? <edit>...

Zaap has been wonderfully helpful to me but I am stumped with a shutdown issue. I followed your guide for the GA-G31M-ES2L Kaido and everything works beautifully... apart from not being able to fully shut down! Sleep, Restart etc are fine. I ran the UInstaller script again - still doesn't...
