Yes ! Thanks Guitar Daddy and everyone who responded to my issue.I have had the most succesfull bios update thus far.I was originally on bios 1002 and had no problems but......When i tried to overclock my 64 3000+ i only could reach a 2.0 gighz clock stable @ 225x9 HTTx4 and the Vcore wouldn't...

I can't say for sure , but the best thing i can advise to you is , go to your local computer store and pick up the 20 - 24 pin power supply adapter . That is what i am running and i have not had any problems since.... As far as the dammage being done at the initial startup , we should hope...

What is the best Bios out for Oc'ing the Asus A8n-SLI ? I am currently running Bios Ver 1002 w/ the athlon 64 3000+ @ 225x9 = 2.0gighz w/ 4x512mb OCZ Platinum EL PC3200 w/ 2336 - 1t timings. Whenever i reboot i have to go in and reset the FSB again because it underclocks the cpu...

I have a problem , whenever i try and set my vcore to 1.55 its stays @ 1.39 or so ? On the Asus A8N SLI ....
