Yeah...My Company worked a lot with the damn chip(VIA I think is the problem), I CAN say for true that is not reliable....Lots of failures. Problem solved, changed it with a Gigabyte MP61 based chip:) Now boots just fine

512DDR 400 RAM PQI
MSI K8NGM2 Sok 939 MB
VGA ATI HD2400 PRO PCI-E
HDD 160GB Sata WD1600JS
The problem is, the system got a BSOD and after that it shut down.
After this event the system won't boot.

this is a power suply test. the intel based chipset MB have this test. The MB checks weather the power supply is OK/has enough power to run the configuration- something like that. I've first noticed on a intel P965 based MB. Very annyiong -agreed.
