I'm looking for the best 850E motherboard on the market right now. Overclocking isn't a major issue. I'm more interested in stability. I plan on putting a 2.53b with 2x256 of RIMM 4200 (32 bit). Any suggestions or experiences with the 850E boards?
I'm pretty new to OC'ing. I'm looking to OC my computer but nothing drastic. Here is my computer:
P4 1.8a
ASUS P4T-E (Intel 850 Chipset)
PC800 RDRAM Kingston Value Ram
PNY GF4 4600
Enermax 350W PSU
Windows XP Prof
I went into the bios and turned off the Turbo feature for the ram. I then...
I have a Sony E540 21" monitor and a PNY 4600. I run everything at 1600x1200. My XP Desktop looks great. There are other cards out there that will put out a better 2d display like Matrox. But if you play games, NVIDIA is the way to go.
So your saying if you only have one drive that your going to plug into a 2 port ide cable then you want to plug it into the end port. So then looking at this from a performance point of view, wouldn't I want my master drive(drive with OS on it) plugged into the end port on the ide cable? Would...
4600 Shootout
"If nothing else, remember this if you read this shootout. Every GeForce4 Ti4600 card performs exactly the same. Sure, there are some small variances here and there, but when you look at the numbers as a whole, we generally see a 1-2% variation of benchmark scores between the...
I had the same problem with mine. So first I replaced it with a Crystal Orb. All that did was take 20 bucks out of my pocket and double the fan noise. So I stuck the stock heat sink fan back on and put a drop of bearing oil in the fan. Be careful with the fan because its very fragile...
I have a Lian Li PC65. I replaced all of the stock fans with L1As (2 front intake, 1 exhauast). I also added 2 more L1As. One over the CPU and the other over the Video Card. My case is much quieter and the temps didn't change.
My Case
Im looking for 1.5V (cB0 stepping) Celeron 566(66) and 600(66) MHz CPUs. Not the CC0 and newer stepping Celeron CPUs.
Do you know where i can get these?
I just bought the PNY 4600 from mwave today. Its like night and day form my old GF 2 GTS 64MB. The card is great. It looks really cool too. I would go for whichever one you can get a better deal on as all the 4600's are the same for the most part.
