I had an Audigy 2ZS and rma'd it. It installed fine, no problems, and it had fairly tight sound. It was a definite improvement over onboard sound even with inexpensive but decent desktop speakers. The reasons I sent it back were:

Gentle, I did patch the game with the first card. When I received the second card I uninstalled and re-installed both games using the new cds that came with the new card. I didn't patch Prince of Persia with the second card because it worked right away with no problems.

The only problems that have shown up with my Leadtek Winfast 6600GT are also related to the games it shipped with. Prince of Persia SOT crashes to the blue screen of death when I quit the game. Windows reports it as an NVIDIA driver problem. I haven't tried the DEP solution yet.Link
