Okay before I thought it was related to the CD drive, but I've got the BSOD screen when doing other things that should have nothing to do with the CD drive... like when I tried to open Outlook. I'm now thinking it's either the motherboard, or its drivers... but I got the latest of all of them...

Nothing in the event logs. It just froze again a couple times, this time all i did was double click on Windows Explorer, and one moment after the window appeared I was looking at my POST screen :(

I believe the Asus P4P800 Deluxe uses the ICH5R. Is anyone using this board yet, or have links to reviews? I'm thinking of getting this instead of the IC7-G which was my original choice... any comments?
