Yeah, Americans get a lot better exchange rate. If you look at the price of the 256 MB cas2 PC133 RAM for $174, do the exchange and it would only be about 104 but the American's exchange rate would probably drop it below $100. Thats pretty sweet for 256MB of cas2 ram!

Check out "www.pccanada.com". Its really good prices in Canada, and if you live in the states, with the exchange on the dollar, you would probably get the prices for about half or slightly above. They are selling a GF2 Ultra 64M for about 670 but if you do the exchange, its about...

Kenwood 72x the pits or is it just me?

Yeah, I have the latest firmware. Still doesn't do it for me. Does it read CD-Rs well? I'm the second person to buy one that sucked so that's why I'm not very impressed. I hope Kenwood has a good warranty process ! And no, my computer doesn't suck!

Kenwood 72x the pits or is it just me?

Is it just me or is the Kenwood 72x CD-ROM a piece of crap? I used benchmarking utilities after noticing that it wouldn't read CD-Rs that well and didn't seem to transfer at the rated 68-72x. Well, I ran "cdspeed99" on: Pioneer 16x DVD 40x read, Plextor 12x10x32 Kenwood 72x Here...

    Free Dynamic IP Registration?

I was wondering if anyone knows where I can find reliable, free, dynamic IP registering. I'm attempting for the first time to set up a server. I know I need dynamic IP registering and I'm finding it really tough to find one. Any suggestions would greatly help! Thanks!

    Help removing GPU heatsink . . .

Is it not attached with 2 plastic clips? I think it is. All I did with my Hercules is take needle nose plyers and pinch the ends of the 2 clips and the heatsink pulls right off. I would suggest that the GPU be a little warm as to thin out the thermal compound on the GPU and heatsink. Give...

AMD/VIA machine consistently hangs - back to Intel?

Hey Mikster, I think 2000 might be your problem...I run a dual boot system (98 and 2000) and encoding video in 2000 just isnt' happening. 2000 actually locks up and I have to reboot. Yeah, 2000 locks up! 98 is fine for encoding so that's what I use. Oh, just to let you know, I have the Asus...

Has this ever happened to you...

I either do one of two things when the window thing happens.... 1. Format, cause F$@k you Bill Gates, you aren't taking my computer over... OR 2. Press CTRL+ALT+SHIFT on the left side of the keyboard and then the same on the right side. This resets your keyboard and everything is fine...
