    why does my scanner add a yellow tint to scans

    umm.. that wasnt a stupid question.. not sure why your LOL'ing.. smoking can leave a yellowey layer on the glass and or reflective backing.. also, your light inside could be failing to putting out a yellow instead of a white glow.. if neither of those are correct, get a new scanner.. -Evil...
