330W Power Brick Solution for SFF

Machupo, I think I had success with the buck converter method. My build worked for about a month with superb graphics performance, no crashes, artifacts, etc. The motherboard eventually died, however, but I think that was because either (1) some water leaked from my WC loop, or (2) the thin...

need advice on micro SD card for dell venue 11

That's actually true of the VP11 and accessories, at least in our case. From what I've seen on the forums, most Nov/Dec orders didn't ship until a few weeks after. The price one pays for being an early adopter :D. I'm sure their stock has settled down a bit since then, though.

    ASRock Z77TM-ITX

I found the H61TM-ITX on ebay, which is the same but with the H61 chipset. My guess is that none of ASROCK's other TM-ITX boards materialized was because they simply wouldn't be able to support a gaming-class GPU, making them pointless for half the premium market. Along with the launch of the...

330W Power Brick Solution for SFF

@Antsk Way to go! I'm about to test an alternative method. I currently have my MoBo with onboard dc-dc powered and my GPU 6-pin connector powered by two separate bricks (the 330W Dell and a 12V brick). I'll be testing out a buck converter (19V to 12V) so I can splice the GPU power into the 19V...

    Best Glue for Watercooling Hack

With my SFF NES-PC, space is at a premium and unfortunately a 90degree fitting is too tall. I agree though and thanks for the tip. Anyone think of any other products?

    Best Glue for Watercooling Hack

Cut up a plastic adapter for my GPU block and need to affix it to the block to make a side facing outlet. What's the best glue to protect my $1000 parts from leaks. I have a silicon sealant which I don't think will work. I have marine epoxy which says not to use in aquariums or portable water...

330W Power Brick Solution for SFF

Just keep in mind that we don't know the specifics for the power board. But if you use parts with lower ratings than whatever is used in the x51, you should be fine. Also keep in mind that the GPU on the x51 could potentially be underclocked, etc. Did you get the brick, board, and cable all...

Intel DQ77KB and a High Performance GPU

Anyone using a gpu that draws closer to the 75W from the DQ77KB or any of the other thin mini-itx boards out there?

330W Power Brick Solution for SFF

My NES-PC won't even fit flex atx. The power brick way is the only way :) If I wasn't already watercooling, I'd try out this power solution. I just posted because maybe someone else would be trying something specific and small like I've done. Btw, i take my NES-PC to family and friends all the...

    ASRock Z77TM-ITX

Hey now people, let's think outside the box and unconventionally here. That's what's giving me my liquid cooled NES-PC that plays the latest in full HD. :D http://www.overclock.net/t/1363969/liquid-cooled-nes-pc Its silent, cool, and relatively powerful. Oh, and did I mention sexy?! If...

330W Power Brick Solution for SFF

I think it would be awesome to put a gtx 660 into an nes-pc with this thing. I don't have space for one in my build bc of my custom water loop. However. An external psu isn't a bad idea. Its an extra noise maker and not a portable solution like a power brick, though.

    ASRock Z77TM-ITX

Looking at the manual for the H77TM-ITX, it looks like the PCIE1 is just a label for the pcie slot, as in CPU_FAN or DIGIT_AUDIO.
