Try taking out all non essential hardware before the install. If it gets through that, add them in.

Im running NT 4 server and M$ dns server on it. Everytime the computer is restarted, the dns server loses the forwarder settings. I have it set to forward to my ISP dns server but I have to re-enter it every time the computer starts. Is there any way to save this stuff so i dont have to do it...

Would it be wise to upgrade 2k to XP? I want XP on one of my PCs and I really dont want to wipe clean and start from scratch. I would think that it would go alright because 2k and xp are so similar but im not sure. Anyone have good experience upgrading?
