Alright, then what cpu and motherboard combo do you guys suggest as far as intel 1155 goes? I have always been an AMD guy and never really bothered reading too much on the Intel chips. So help here would be great.
P.s- As far as price goes I want a system that is not EXPENSIVE but will be able...
Alright right now I have a generic motherboard from an ASUS computer that could have been bought at Walmart. I am looking to keep my cpu and get a new motherboard, gpu and ram in hopes that I can play some if not all of the games coming out in the next year that I want to. Right now I am running...
As the title states, that is what I am looking for. I am looking for a BluRay player that will allow me to use netflix and I will be able to stream media off my Windows 7 based pc to it from another room. Is there such a device? If so can you guys suggest one?
I am interested in building a media pc for my living room so that I can watch netflix and stream movies that I have on my other pc in the bedroom. I am looking for advice on what components I should get for what I am intending it to do. I don't want it to play games. I just want it for netflix...
The video card right now is the on-board video but I have a visontek 4350 hd installed that the system does not recognize. And I just looked and it has a Thermaltake 600w psu.
System specs are as follows:
Amd Athlon II x4 645 @ 3.2ghz
Acer Aspire x1420g mainboard w/ nVidia mcp61 chipset
4gb DDR3
1TB Sata HDD
Antec 9 Hundred Two Computer Case
I am curious as to how I determine how much power requires? My video card doesn't work and I want to rule out the possibility of not enough power. When I plug the card in the system does't recognize it so I am thinking that maybe there isn't enough power in my power supply to run it. Any and all...
I received a Acer Aspire x1420g computer from a friend about a month ago. I took it all apart and installed all the components in a full tower case so I have more room. I upgraded to a Thermaltake 430w power supply and now I am looking to upgrade the graphics card. I am not looking for anything...
Here is what is going on, I have a generic motherboard right now that I can't really do anything as far as overclocking goes. I have an AMD Athlon II X4 645 Propus core processor on it and I am looking to upgrade the motherboard as the start of a new system build. I am looking for something that...
It very well might be the card, I remember having it in another system and it would work periodically. It would work until the system was turned off and then once restarted the card would stop working. I might have just purchased a defective card back in the day. There is nothing I can do about...
I am pretty much at the end of my rope with this generic POS motherboard. On the board though is an AMD Athlon II X4 645 Propus core cpu, is that worth getting a good overclocking motherboard or should I stick with a cheap but better replacement for the board that is in this machine at the...
No such luck for me. I go into the bios and look in the advanced section and nothing pertaining to graphics, I have an Integrated Paraphernalia option and when I go into that there is an on-board graphics option that says Enabled, it is greyed out so I can not choose it and change it.

That is the specs on the motherboard. I did update the bios last night. And the power supply has been upgraded as I took the computer guts out of that that stupid little case they give you and put it into my Antec case. The new...
Alright I went into the Bios and did not find anything pertaining to an add-in card. I found something about the on-board card being enabled but it was greyed out and would not let me select it. This is really starting to annoy me because I bought this card to upgrade this stupid system and now...
