    Unable to install

I get the exact same error message here when trying to install the latest version of Easy Tune 6 available from Gigabyte (build 9.1120.1) after a clean install of XP Pro SP3 on a GA-M720-US3 motherboard with a Phenom II X4 810 CPU and a GeForce GTX 260 c216 video card. I tried contacting...

Great, johnno! That's all I needed to know. Thanks a lot!

Man, you can't even get the name of your motherboard model right, much less elaborate on this subject. If your PCI clock does remain locked even with your 57% overclock, of course it's because your mobo gets this clock from the PCI-E clock or even keeps it always locked, as geokilla suggested...

The PCI clock is, in the vast majority of cases, synchronized with the CPU base clock. In the case of the M2N-E, the manual clearly states that. Quoting myself from a previous post: "Manual says (on page 4-20): CPU Frequency: indicates the frequency sent by the clock generator to the system...

I find that very unlikely, but only testing will show. Can't anybody please check the value of the PCI bus with ClockGen after raising the CPU clock, as I asked above? Even a small increase will do, as the PCI clock (if unlocked) will raise proportionally from its default value of 33.33 MHz.

I couldn't help it and wrote to ASUS telling them that they are advertising something which the motherboard doesn't have (PCI lock). The pathetic answer from ASUS USA (as usual): "Unfortunally we here at asus tech support can not support Overclocking due to warrenty issues if you wish to seek...

I'm really curious as to what happens to the PCI bus clock when you raise the CPU base frequency. I don't own this motherboard, but I'm considering buying one (or the M2N-SLI Deluxe), and the overclocking features are absolutely essential to me. So, if any of you use to overclock with this...

I guess many people still have IDE HD's, and also, overclocking without being able to lock the PCI bus will also affect CD/DVD drives, which usually are IDE devices. Just try a high overclock and write some large zip file to CD or DVD and then test the file - chances are huge that it will be...

Another issue... Product information on ASUS site says: "Adjustable FSB frequencies with fixed PCI/PCI Express frequencies". Manual says (on page 4-20): "CPU Frequency: indicates the frequency sent by the clock generator to the system bus and PCI bus". So it seems that the PCI (not...
