How does the Xbox 360 HD DVD Player compare to others?

Can you show me this in writing? I'd consider a PS3 if it were true.

How does the Xbox 360 HD DVD Player compare to others?

The 360 with the HD DVD player is the only high def player that can play DivX/XVid. Also it does 1080p unlike the other HD DVD player someone linked to. I thought all 360s came with a HDMI port now.

WTF is that supposed to mean? I normally post from this account but I've been home sick the past two days... what's your problem? Barrage? Again I don't even think you know what you're talking about... you're just posting so that your post count goes ++ ? Did you actually read the GD...

    Gigabyte I-Ram, finally here

I guess one way would be to install them into a spare PC and run the SATA cables into another system I have Sata cables at work that are 3-4 feet long, so it should work... not pretty though. The lack of spare PCI slots is definately a problem. I can't run the two I-Rams and my Audigy sound...

    Gigabyte I-Ram, finally here

Until two weeks ago, they weren't actually available for sale at any reputable vendor. Nice troll post though, wonder how many of your 5710 are similarly valuable contributions to these forums.

    Gigabyte I-Ram, finally here

Jiggz, I haven't yet done any quantitative measurements. Qualitatively, things feel slightly faster, level loading times are improved by some small amount, but more importantly are the reduction in "jerks" when the framerate goes real low for a split second. Here's what I've been using it...

    Gigabyte I-Ram, finally here

    I've been testing all the 1G modules I can get my hands on. So far with my 1.3rev I-Ram: These sticks worked: Kingston ValueRAM 2GB (2 x 1GB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM System Memory http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820141308 A-DATA V-Series 2GB (2 x 1GB) 184-Pin DDR...

    Gigabyte I-Ram, finally here

I receieved my I-Ram from Buy.com yesterday, and it was the 1.3 revision. :) There isn't much of a difference between all those, but its nice to get the newest revision (probably). Didn't do much testing yet, I don't have all my memory I was going to use in it yet. I tried the stuff from...

    Gigabyte I-Ram, finally here

Buy.com has a great price on these. Their web site says they are out of stock, but despite that, the one I ordered actually shipped and arrives today according to FedEx's tracking info. I was content to wait a while to save 10-20 bucks, seems I get to have my cake and eat it too. :)...

    Gigabyte I-Ram, finally here

Here's a Google cache of the page back when the various version differences were described (dunno why they took it down): http://64.233.179.104/search?q=cache:uT...K&hl=en&gl=us&ct=clnk&cd=30&lr=lang_en It doesn't look like much changes from 1.1 > 1.2 > 1.3. Unless there's firmware...

    Gigabyte I-Ram, finally here

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16815168001 So who is going to buy it and see if WoW load times are improved for me?

Dumping AMD64-going back to pentium goodness

Or something he hasn't tried replacing yet may actually be faulty. Who knows? If any of you buy his stuff, post your experience with it. Would be interesting to know. I'd get a non-Prescott 3.0 or 3.2. So get the C revision instead of the E. They run a lot cooler, and I've bought dozens...

Dumping AMD64-going back to pentium goodness

He checked the memory, but never ran different memory, from what I read. Thats what you need to do next, borrow some memory from someone that you know works, and see if the problem remains.

    veritas backup exec help

The feature you want is in BEX 10, which you can download from www.backupexec.com. It will be a trial version good for 60 days until you buy a license. As far as I know, you cannot backup to disk using version 8.5, that feature was added in version 9 or 9.1. I could be wrong though, the key...
