Does anybody have any idea what the part number or name of a component is that simulates a parallel port??

My senior EE design group is trying to simulate a circuit that takes four analog inputs into an A to D and then through buffers into the parallel port of a computer for storage. We have found all the chip and everything we need except a way to simulate the parallel port. We can't find the...

The only option on the advanced tab is to always show the icon. Nothing else. Is there someway I could have inadvertantly disabled my ability to use standby mode??

That's the question...in the Power Options window of Control Panel, how do you get automatic standby? Or manual for that matter...thanks

We are drafting tonight at 5:20 EST. I have Posada on one of my other fantasy teams....he's one of the highest ranked catchers, why do you say dont pick him up?

OK, the genealogy files are too big for floppies. I don't know how to get into windows safe mode. All I've got is a DOS Prompt and typing 'win' doesn't do anything, just gives the divide overflow error again. She has no cd writer or second hard drive, and btw I think she's still in the PC...

There's an application CD that came with the computer, but that's the only windows CD we've got here. It says it doesn't require a format, it just reinstalls windows, prepackaged sw, etc. This is important as she has a bunch of genealogy files on the hdd. Problem now is that I cant get it...

I experienced that driver problem with my TV Wonder. It works now that ATi has Win2k drivers on the website. Although, it seems to me like the picture quality dropped greatly when I switched from 98se to 2000.

In device manager the drive is recognized and it even says it is functioning properly, but it is not assigned a drive letter... he backed up all of his files on that drive, so it is important that he doesnt have to format it to fix this problem.
