Oh sorry. I Misunderstood what you were saying. You are exactly right. I've been turned down for 2 jobs already I would've gotten hired for if the economy were in better shape. With so many people flooding the job market it makes it harder to turn down jobs.
Because I was laid off from my job in Little Rock and have not had an offer yet in nearly 2 months despite having 9 years experience. It's more about opportunity than me throwing a dart at a map.
My real problem is I'm a Linux C++/Perl guy and nearly everything I see now is .NET.
I'm single, living in Little Rock now. My last job was significantly lower than that and I lived comfortably. However I have been looking at possibly relocating and I know many places such as the west coast have a very high cost of living so I wanted to check with the experts here :)

After 8 years working in a data warehouse company writing C++ and Perl on all *nix Operating Systems I would like to make the transition into web development. I have some experience installing, configuring, and writing in Apache, Perl, and PHP. I interviewed twice for a good job over the last...
The acquisition is final but the changes are unannounced. But before I even entertain the idea of surviving the inevitable layoffs and relocations I want to know if it's a job worth taking a chance for. It'd be in software development.
Ninja Gaiden Sigma has an optional install but it doesn't seem to improve anything. The DMC4 install was by far the longest I've seen. Took roughly 10-15 minutes.
I went to Circuity City last night and they would not even pricematch their own website price on a stereo. So I wasn't about to use the $40 coupon. Why create 2 different promotions and only honor 1 of them? Not only that the employees told me they will no longer pricematch anyone as part of...
