It is a damned shame when a good word is used sloppily and loses its proper meaning. So many people these days say things like "I was literally riveted to my seat," "She literally dropped dead from surprise," etc. when they are just trying to emphasize something, not indicate that a metaphor is...

How ironic to think that she would not have this problem in a Muslim country, since they would whole-heartedly approve her wearing a veil, but would not allow her to drive. :(

I come from a huge Greek family, and we are really tight knit. My cousins (I have 26 of them) are almost like brothers and sisters to me. But I have met people who barely even know their cousins. I am curious to hear from you folks, how close are you to your cousins? Are you really good friends...
